Project Africa is honored to participate in the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), taking place from August 20 to 22, 2025, in Yokohama, Japan. This premier summit, co-hosted by the Government of Japan, the United Nations, the World Bank, the African Union Commission, and the UNDP, serves as a vital platform for advancing sustainable development and strengthening partnerships between Africa and Japan.
Our delegation will engage in high-level dialogues, thematic sessions, and networking events focused on youth employment, labor mobility, and skills development. We look forward to sharing our experiences, forging new collaborations, and contributing to the shared vision of inclusive growth and mutual prosperity.

At Project Africa, we believe in strategic collaboration to create meaningful opportunities for African youth. We’re excited to share the following partnership developments:
National Youth Service (NYS) – Kenya
We are working towards a partnership with the National Youth Service (NYS) to introduce Japanese language and skill training programs within NYS institutions. This initiative aims to prepare students for direct job placement opportunities in Japan, particularly in caregiving and other in-demand sectors.
Fortis Medical Training College – Kerugoya, Kenya
On July 16, 2025, CareGate Corporation and Fortis Medical Training College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a framework for their partnership to introduce Japanese language education at the institution. The first intake is scheduled to commence in September 2025.
CM Training Institute
On July 23, 2025, CareGate Corporation and CMTI entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the introduction of Japanese language education at the institution. Under this agreement, the inaugural intake of students will begin in September 2025.
Jobplus College
On July 25, 2025, CareGate Corporation and JobPlus College formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at launching Japanese language education at the institution. The program’s first intake is set to commence in September 2025.
